Service Agreement
Welcome! The following Service Agreement outlines K9Landmine’s policies and procedures. As a client of K9Landmine you do not need to sign this agreement...we just need to know that you are aware of our policies and procedures so that both parties are protected. By accepting this Agreement, you are giving K9Landmine and its employees permission to enter your property to perform said duties and agree to all stipulations herein.

Billing: We will debit your credit or debit card each month for the next month’s work.

Late Fee & Non-Payment: All accounts are due and payable before your new month’s service begins. There will be a late fee of $15.00 per month for payments not received by the due date plus account will be suspended. Any account unpaid after 90 days will be subject to legal action and client is responsible for all attorney fees incurred. Financial troubles? K9Landmine will always work with you to arrange an amicable payment schedule.

Holidays: The following are a list of Holidays we observe: New Years Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve & Christmas Day. If any of these holidays fall on your regularly scheduled pick-up day, we will either move your scooping service to the day before or the day after the holiday.

Legal Notes: You agree to pay the applicable fees that were given to you by a K9Landmine representative over the phone. No long-term contract is implied. K9Landmine reserves the right to change fees and/or scheduled days of service. We will notify you prior to any change in fees and/or service days. Either party may discontinue this service with 24 hours notice via phone or email. Your service is not cancelled until you receive a confirmation reply from K9Landmine. A full, prorated refund is issued if cancelling during a pre-paid time period. K9Landmine cannot be held responsible for damaging old or rotten gates/fences when opening them. If your property is not serviced due to circumstances beyond our control, i.e. illness, disabled vehicle, extreme weather, etc., you will receive a 50% off credit for that service and will not be charged any extra for the next cleaning which will be a bigger job. Our service hours are from 7am to 7pm. If your service day falls on a holiday and no service is performed or is suspended for any reason, i.e. nonpayment, ice-covered yard, you request it, etc., then the next visit will be priced accordingly. If we are not able to clean your lawn due to a locked gate, sprinklers on, aggressive animal, etc., you will still be charged for that visit, however, you will not be charged for the extra work we do on the next cleaning. In the case of an animal attack upon an employee the owner of the animal and/or the property owner shall be held completely liable for any and all damages not covered by our general liability insurance and/or your homeowners insurance. Client will immediately notify K9Landmine if there is a change in the number of pets—no credits/refunds can be made if the client forgets to inform K9Landmine of a decrease in the number of pets—employee’s pay is based on the number of pets per property. Unless an extra service fee is agreed to, K9Landmine cannot guarantee specific cleaning times nor do we provide a window of time cleaning will occur other than the daylight hours on the scheduled day of service.
Dispute Resolution: Client and K9Landmine agree that if any dispute or controversy arises out of or relating to the subject matter of this Agreement, the parties shall make every reasonable effort to first attempt to reach a satisfactory resolution directly between them. If the parties are unable to resolve the dispute between them, the parties will use mediation to attempt to resolve the dispute. If the parties are still unable to reach a satisfactory resolution, the parties shall use binding arbitration rather than litigation to resolve the dispute. Such arbitration shall be governed by the Federal Arbitration Act and/or the AAA rules. The arbitration award may be entered in any court having jurisdiction thereof.
